John Stevens directs this ensemble of six tubas and eight euphoniums, played by students at the School of Music. The program includes works composed or arranged by Stevens, the 'Fifth Fanfare for the Uncommon Woman' by Joan Tower and 'Loch Lomond' as arranged by Ralph Vaughan Williams and Michael Forbes. Trumpet soloist John Aley joins the ensemble for the world premiere of 'Prometheus and the Gift of Fire' by Stevens.
